Innovative way to work with oil pastels.

While working with pastels we all know that sculpting the details is not a piece of cake...but i think opting this creative way, we can easily do that.

1) The rough sketch of the work is something that we can never ignore. Do it with firm hands ..no need to  apply excess pressure and fill it with the colours of your choice...like this.

Rough work

2) Obviously when we talk about pastels the crucial step is a wonderful blending. Without proper blending it's completely useless.

For fine blending use cotton, tissue paper or ear buds. After fine blending we can easily see the figure though our rough work .

3) Now comes the most important step..the details. For drawing details on pastel works...use a dark pencil like 4B or 6B...we can even use 10 B too..but be careful while using them... due to their thickness  they smudge very easily.

In case ,if  not having any of them..we can simply use the normal HB pencil we just need to apply a  bit of more  pressure to get sharp and sleek figures.

And your work will be absolutely astonishing with all those fine features that you always wanted in your work....people will really just wonder how you made it.

5 Things that every aspiring artist should know. 1)Fly high with the wings of your imagination  History witnesses, that all the greatest artist actually had different view for  this world. They definitely exist in this realistic world but their heart is always arrested in their own world. A world where they are allowed to take their imagination to that very extent, where nobody could ever reach.  Where they are always  free to choose a different shade. Skies can be pink, sea can be green........each and every detail of nature  can be moulded...but only if you want to. 2) Reference image Reference image is something from which you are actually getting inspired. You can definitely use them...even i use them vigorously, not only noob artist use them even professionals use them too...but don't forget to show your creativity. If you will just copy the work as it is..then what is use of drawing that. I mean,it is actually made in a much better way. So..get inspired ...
Draw your digital art ideas on paper  Give wings to your imagination Romi is an artist, who loves  to recreate fantasy digital arts on paper with ordinary stationery. Check my artworks here . My  instagram   profile. Magic with stick colours Spray technique Step 1:  Draw your artwork with stick colours need not to add details..just the outline and fill it roughly with colors. Rough sketch I use stick colours  because they are: 1) Available dime a dozen (inexpensive)   2) Give very nice and bright colour  3) Blend in an excellent way and 4) They are not at all messy to work with. Step 2:   Keep your work on an old newspaper (make sure to make four to five layers of newspaper or else you will ruin the floor). Spray water on the artwork yes...correct....this really gives the best blending i have even seen..trust me. But don't spray too much of it otherwise your paper will get withered. Just make sure each inch of your sheet ...
